Fotógrafo local emerge en la escena de arte de Oklahoma

Oklahoma City, OK – El Arte en Oklahoma está experimentando un renacimiento. Los distritos de arte en todo el estado de Oklahoma están creciendo y prosperando. Un fotógrafo local está encontrando su voz en la escena en pleno auge. Rosa Anderson ha estado ejerciendo ésta profesión por más de 30 años.
Su padre, el Sr. David Moreno, comenzó su negocio de fotografía y video, en los años setenta muy conocido con el nombre “El Señor Fotografo Producciones”. Mr. Moreno inició sus servicios con filmación y creación de vídeos de los bailes de la comunidad en el salón de los espejos del centro cívico de Oklahoma, y años despés capturando memorias durante eventos presentados por el periódico El Latino American y la Puerta de Oro.

A la edad de 16 años, Anderson comenzó su viaje detrás del lente fotografiando bodas y quinceañeras en la comunidad hispana al lado de su padre “El Señor Fotografo”. En el año 2013, Anderson heredó el legado creado por su padre y creó “Memory Creations Vídeo y Fotografía & RLA. Descubrió su amor y pasión por capturar los recuerdos de sus clientes. Quería compartir el hermoso arte de la fotografía.

"La idea básica detrás de mi trabajo es que en lugar de simplemente capturar una interpretación realista del tema, estoy tratando de producir una impresión, típicamente más evocadora o atmosférica, más personal. Quiero que todo el mundo pueda ver toda la belleza que veo a través del lente,” dijo Rosa Anderson.

Rosa, mostró su arte por primera vez el pasado mes de noviembre en una exhibición de grupo en “ The Farmers Public Market”. Sus próximas exposiciones incluyen: Group Exhibition at DNA Galleries in the Plaza District, a partir del 10 de junio y durante el mes de junio; demostrando el arte pop-up en Julio en el Distrito Paseo de Arte, “Prairie Arts Collective gallery”.

Local Photographer Emerging in the Oklahoma Art Scene

Oklahoma City, OK- Art in Oklahoma is experiencing a renaissance. Art Districts throughout the state of Oklahoma are growing and thriving. One local photographer is finding her voice in the booming scene. Rosa Anderson has been in the business for over 30 years. A Prairie Arts Collective gallery in the Paseo Arts District.

Anderson’s father David Moreno started their video and photography business, El Señor Fotografo Producciones, back in the seventies. He got his start by filming and creating videos of the community dances at the Civic Center’s Hall of Mirrors. At the age of 16, Anderson began on her journey behind the lens photographing weddings and quinceañeras in the Hispanic community. In 2013, Anderson inherited the legacy created by her father and created Memory Creations Video & Photography & RLA Photography. She discovered her love and passion for capturing the memories of her clients. She loved sharing the beautiful art of photography.

“The basic idea behind my work is that instead of merely capturing a realistic rendition of the subject. I am aiming to produce a more personal – typically more evocative or atmospheric – impression. I just want everyone to see all the beauty I see through the lens.” - Rosa Anderson.

Rosa displayed her art for the first time this past November in a group exhibiting at The Farmers Public Market. Her upcoming art shows include: Group Exhibition at DNA Galleries in the Plaza District, starting June 10th and running for the month of June; Featured pop-up shop artist at The Exchange on Film Row starting in June; Featured Artist for the month of July at the Prairie Arts Collective gallery in the Paseo Arts District.
