BCBS informo que Acosta tiene 23 años de servicio con la empresa y participa en el programa de voluntariado Blue Corps para los empleados de BCBSOK. En 2022, participó como voluntaria por más de 50 horas. Por cada hora que un empleado de BCBSOK dedica a realizar actividades de voluntariado en una organización sin fines de lucro que es un socio comunitario, BCBSOK dona $20 a dicha entidad a través del programa Blue CorpsSM Matching Dollars.
En honor a su premio, BCBSOK también donó $1,000 a Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, la entidad benéfica elegida por Acosta.
