Elegir la aplicación bancaria adecuada: características que importan

A la hora de elegir un banco, hay muchos factores a tener en cuenta. Para muchos, la aplicación del banco es uno de los factores más importantes. 

Cuando decida dónde realizar operaciones bancarias, las funciones digitales definitivamente deben ser parte de la conversación, pero no el único factor determinante. El lugar donde elija administrar su dinero debe basarse en su confianza en la institución para brindar una orientación sólida teniendo en cuenta su mejor interés. Busque un banco que comprenda sus objetivos financieros y pueda mantener seguros su dinero e información personal. Personalmente, también sé que mi horario actual no me permite visitar una sucursal con mucha frecuencia, por lo que era importante para mí poder realizar gran parte de mi actividad bancaria a través de la aplicación. 

Entonces, cuando esté buscando la aplicación de un banco, aquí hay algunas cosas que considero características imprescindibles: 

• Fácil acceso a todo: Quiero ver todas mis cuentas en un solo lugar, verificar mi saldo en tiempo real y encontrar rápidamente detalles de transacciones, estados de cuenta y otra información de la cuenta a medida que la necesito.

• Posibilidad de pagar cómo y cuándo quiero. Ya sea que se trate de pagar facturas, transferir fondos o depositar cheques, todo debería ser factible desde la aplicación.

• Control de la tarjeta al alcance de tu mano: Poder restablecer mi pin en la aplicación es genial. Y si pierdo mi tarjeta, agradezco poder bloquearla hasta que la encuentre de nuevo.

Y algunas características agradables de una aplicación bancaria serían:

• Las herramientas de presupuesto y el seguimiento del puntaje crediticio son características útiles para tener en una aplicación bancaria, ya que pueden facilitar el control de sus finanzas. Algunas personas prefieren usar aplicaciones u hojas de cálculo separadas para eso, por lo que es un buen bono, pero no un factor decisivo si su banco no lo ofrece. Hay muchas aplicaciones y servicios que le brindan acceso a la información de su puntaje crediticio de forma gratuita. 

Cuando se trata de elegir la mejor aplicación bancaria para sus necesidades, piense en lo que hace con más frecuencia cuando se trata de administrar su dinero y consulte los sitios web de los bancos para ver si ofrecen las funciones que se ajustan a sus necesidades. Por ejemplo, ¿tiene un trabajo secundario y necesita recibir el pago de sus clientes o depositar un montón de cheques? Entonces probablemente querrá un banco que ofrezca depósito móvil y algo como Zelle. Tal vez desee recibir una notificación cuando su saldo caiga por debajo de cierta cantidad. En ese caso, vea si el banco ofrece alertas o notificaciones personalizables para ayudarlo a mantenerse al tanto de las cosas.

Choosing the Right Banking App: Features That Matter

When it comes to choosing a bank, there are many factors to consider. For many, the bank’s app is one of the most important factors. 

When you're deciding where to bank, digital features should definitely be part of the conversation but not the only determining factor. Where you chose to manage your money should be based on your trust in the institution to provide sound guidance with your best interest in mind. Look for a bank that understands your financial goals and can they keep your money and personal information safe. Personally, I also know that my current schedule doesn't allow me to visit a branch very often, so it was important for me to be able to do a lot of my banking activity through the app. 

So, when you are looking into a bank’s app, here are some things I consider must-have features: 

• Easy access to everything: I want to see all my accounts in one place, check my balance in real time, and quickly find transaction details, statements, and other account information as I need it.

• Ability to pay how and when I want. Whether it's paying bills, transferring funds, or depositing checks, it should all be doable from the app.

• Card control at your fingertips: Being able to reset my pin in the app is great. And if I misplace my card, I appreciate being able to lock it until I find it again.

And some nice-to-have features of a banking app would be:

• Budgeting tools and credit score tracking are helpful features to have in a banking app since they can make it easier to stay on top of your finances. Some people prefer using separate apps or spreadsheets for that so it’s a nice bonus but not a dealbreaker if your bank doesn’t offer it. There are a lot of apps and services out there that give you access to your credit score information for free. 

When it comes to choosing the best banking app for your needs, think about what you do most often when it comes to managing your money, and check out bank websites to see if they offer the features that match your needs. For example, do you have a side hustle and need to receive payment from your customers or deposit a bunch of checks? Then you’ll probably want a bank that offers mobile deposit and something like Zelle. Maybe you want to be notified when your balance drops below a certain amount. In that case, see if the bank offers customizable alerts or notifications to help you stay on top of things.
