CHICKASHA, Okla. The First National Bank & Trust Co., a locally owned, employee-owned community bank with deep roots in Chickasha since 1892, today announced it is now operating under a new name: Brooks Bank.
The new name honors the Brooks family—whose vision and leadership helped shape the institution into what it is today. The bank’s ownership, leadership and staff remain unchanged, as does its commitment to the customers and communities it serves.

Chickasha has been central to the bank’s history since its founding. The institution opened in 1892 as Citizens Bank and has since operated as Citizens National Bank, Citizen Farmers National Bank, First National Bank and The First National Bank & Trust Co. Throughout each transition, the bank has remained in Chickasha, serving local families and businesses across multiple generations.
The decision to rebrand as Brooks Bank reflects a need for a clearer, more distinctive identity.
