La reunion presento a Beverly “BJ” Glover –Vice President for University Culture, Oklahoma Baptist University former KOCO Anchor, maestro de ceremonia y Emeka Nnaka-invitado especial, orador principal- Terapista, y Defensor por Esperanza.

Emeka Nnaka es un orador motivacional, entrenador y defensor. Habiendo experimentado adversidad a través de un catastrofico accidente en uno de los partidos de football americano representando a su Universidad, lo cual resulto en una paralisis. Emeka Nnaka compartio con los asistentes su pasion por inspirar esperanza y ensenar a la gente como vivir mas aya las circunrstancias de la vida”

Honoring Visionary Leaders Committed to Creating a Healthy and Hopeful Community

Oklahoma. - Celebrating the 2023 Legacy Award, the non-profit organization Lynn Institute recently held a luncheon meeting at the Nichols Hills Country Club to honor visionary leaders committed to creating a Healthy and Hopeful Community. Awarding the “2023 Lynn Legacy Award to Charles Dobson-Deputy Second District Two- Oklahoma County”. “2023 Legacy Award to Carrie Blumert Oklahoma County Commissioner”, “2023 Lynn Community Champion Award to Pastor Derrick Scobey-Ebenezer Baptist Church.

"The mission of the Lynn Institute is to create and maintain a hopeful healthy community throughout Oklahoma" said Steve Petty, President, and CEO of The Lynn Institute.  Lynn Institute helps Oklahomans improve health and well-being by identifying at-risk populations through research and listening sessions. With that research, we define community needs, determine gaps in health and resources access, pursue connections with residents, and assist with neighborhood improvement”

Emeka Nnaka is a motivational speaker, coach, and advocate. Having experienced adversity through a catastrophic accident at one of the football games representing his university, which resulted in paralysis. Emeka Nnaka shared with the attendees hir passion and mission to inspire hope and teach people how to Live Beyond the Labels of their circumstances"
