Oklahoma City.-Se realizará la 10ª edición de la Semana de Educación Financiera Integral para Mexicanos en el Exterior 2022 (SEFIME2022) del 25 al 29 de abril del año en curso en las Representaciones de México en Estados Unidos, Canadá, América Latina y Europa bajo el lema "Principios Financieros para Mejorar tu Economía", en la cual, contaremos con la colaboración de aliados, socios locales y nacionales y las Ventanillas de Asesoría Financiera (VAF).
La Semana de Educación Financiera Integral para Mexicanos en el Exterior (SEFIME), es una actividad que se realiza en coordinación con la Red Consular de México en EUA y Canadá, donde se buscan ofrecer talleres, capacitaciones, platicas, asesorías, etc., sobre temas de educación e inclusión financiera dirigido a la comunidad mexicana que radica en el exterior.
En ella, se busca ofrecer talleres y actividades de orientación sobre temas de acceso a servicios financieros a la comunidad mexicana migrante en Estados Unidos y Canadá, que les permita una buena administración de sus finanzas personales y familiares así como la forma de manejar su dinero de manera segura, las opciones para hacerlo más productivo, cómo proteger su patrimonio y brindarles herramientas para la mejor toma de decisiones.
Desde 2012 hasta hoy se han realizado 10 ediciones de la SEFIME logrando atender a más de medio millón de personas de manera directa, gracias a la colaboración de más de 700 socios locales a través de diferentes actividades dentro y fuera de los consulados. Además de un impacto en medios considerable que permite llevar a más connacionales información sobre servicios financieros.
