La PaddleMania de RIVERSPORT regresa el 8 de Agosto

CIUDAD DE OKLAHOMA. - Coge tu pala, reúne a tu equipo y prepárate para dar un gran impacto. La anual PaddleMania de RIVERSPORT regresa el sábado 8 de agosto, transformando el Whitewater Center en carreras rápidas, competición creativa y diversión veraniega. 

Desde regatas de balsas hasta regatas caseras de barcos, PaddleMania invita a palistas de todos los niveles de experiencia a poner a prueba sus habilidades en uno de los eventos más entretenidos de la temporada en RIVERSPORT. Los competidores competirán por el derecho a presumir y el título de campeón de PaddleMania.

El evento anual se celebra de 15:00 a 18:00 horas en el Centro de Aguas Bravas de RIVERSPORT. La entrada es gratuita para los espectadores. La participación en el concurso es gratuita.

La programación de PaddleMania de este año incluye:

• Batalla de las Paletas: Los equipos se enfrentan directamente en carreras de balsas sin entrenamientos ni entrenamiento.

• Construye tu propio barco (BYOB): constrúyelo y comprueba si sobrevive a los rápidos.

"PaddleMania es una oportunidad para que la gente salga al agua y pruebe algo nuevo", dijo Chris Sorensen, director ejecutivo de RIVERSPORT OKC. "Es una forma divertida de experimentar las aguas bravas, tanto si compites con amigos como si observas desde la distancia."

El evento está abierto a una amplia variedad de edades y niveles de habilidad, con divisiones para jóvenes y adultos.

"Cada año vemos que la gente aporta ideas creativas y aporta una gran actitud a PaddleMania", dijo Sorensen. Los barcos caseros, la competición amistosa y la emoción del público son lo que hace especial este evento."

RIVERSPORT’s PaddleMania returns August 8

OKLAHOMA CITY .- Grab your paddle, gather your team and get ready to make a splash. RIVERSPORT’s annual PaddleMania returns Saturday, August 8, transforming the Whitewater Center into fast-paced races, creative competition and summer fun. 

From raft races to homemade boat races, PaddleMania invites paddlers of all experience levels to test their skills in one of RIVERSPORT’s most entertaining events of the season. Competitors will race for bragging rights and the title of PaddleMania champion.

The annual event runs from 3 to 6 p.m. at the RIVERSPORT Whitewater Center. Admission is free for spectators. Competition is free to enter. 

This year’s PaddleMania lineup includes:

• Battle of the Paddles: Teams go head-to-head in raft races with no practice runs or coaching.

• Build Your Own Boat (BYOB): Design it, build it, and see if it survives the rapids.

“PaddleMania is a chance for people to get out on the water and try something new,” said RIVERSPORT OKC Executive Director Chris Sorensen. “It's a fun way to experience the whitewater whether you’re competing with friends or watching from the sidelines.”

The event is open to a wide range of ages and skill levels, with divisions for youth and adults.

“Every year we see people come up with creative ideas and bring a great attitude to PaddleMania, Sorensen said. “The homemade boats, friendly competition and excitement from the crowd are what make this event special.”
