Oklahoma BPA gana en la Conferencia Nacional de Liderazgo
Los miembros de Oklahoma Business Professionals of America trajeron a casa más de 100 premios de la Conferencia Nacional de Liderazgo BPA en Anaheim, California.
Oklahoma llevó 430 personas a la conferencia, que atrajo al NLC más grande de la historia, dijo Paxton Cavin, asesor de BPA de Oklahoma en el Departamento de Educación Profesional y Tecnológica de Oklahoma. Fue elegida para su segundo mandato como presidenta de la Junta Nacional de Fideicomisarios de BPA.
"Oklahoma BPA aprovechó cada oportunidad mientras estaba en Anaheim para la Conferencia Nacional de Liderazgo 2023. Nuestros miembros de Oklahoma BPA no solo se desempeñaron bien en sus eventos competitivos, sino que también tuvimos una presencia notable en las oportunidades de liderazgo y los esfuerzos de servicio comunitario que se ofrecieron ", dijo Cavin. "Nuestra asociación fue una de las pocas que participó en todas las divisiones estudiantiles, incluidas las de nivel medio, secundario y postsecundario, lo cual es un reflejo directo del Sistema CareerTech de Oklahoma".
En las competiciones, Oklahoma tuvo cinco ganadores de primer lugar secundario y 17 ganadores de primer lugar postsecundario. El capítulo estatal también tuvo cuatro finalistas de nivel medio entre los 10 mejores, 19 finalistas secundarios top 10 y 77 finalistas postsecundarios top 10.
Oklahoma BPA llegó a casa con la copa postsecundaria itinerante.
El capítulo también tuvo 16 ganadores del Premio Antorcha Embajadora, ocho capítulos calificados de BPA Cares, 14 capítulos de Calidad Nacional y un ganador del Premio Presidencial al Servicio Voluntario de nivel bronce.
Además, 37 asesores fueron reconocidos por cinco o más años de servicio.
BPA es una de las siete organizaciones estudiantiles de CareerTech afiliadas a los programas de CareerTech. Está afiliado a la educación empresarial y de tecnología de la información. Los otros seis son DECA (educación en marketing), FCCLA (educación en ciencias de la familia y del consumidor), FFA (educación agrícola), HOSA (educación profesional en salud), SkillsUSA (educación comercial e industrial) y Technology Student Association (ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas).

I was looking to purchase a home at the end of last year, by that time my debt only was $2,500 car note. My MMS was 690. My current lease is up for renewal in DEC. 2022. It is a 2 years lease. I had an Auto loan, which brought down my credit score to EQ 591| TU 522| EX 594. (AUTO SCORES: EQ 624| TU 642| EX 622) AAoA: 7yrs 8 months. 3 charge-offs with a balance: $20,441, $20K and $603 that update monthly. 3 old paid charge-offs $0. I’ve been struggling trying to build my credit over last year. 12 May 2023 16:57My score has not been decent EQ 581, TU 569 EX 601. I had a card list that was from a family member and I was the AU—it had a $5700,00 limit and was a 6 years old card. Last month, I got alerts from FICO that the card has been closed by CITI, the issuer for lack of activity-----my scores PLUNGED…...EQ went -24 TU went -17 and EX -15. I do have a car loan about 2.5 years into a 5 years’ term. I had a previous late payment on my first student loan servicer. I applied for a credit card earlier last but was not approved due to my indecent credit report. I asked a question: what should I do to get a decent credit score?
